Our Plant Engineer, Marc, started working for Bulman Products part time in 1977. After working other part time positions and receiving a certification for spot welding Marc received his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from the University of Michigan in 1981. Marc’s full time employment at Bulman began in July of 1983 and has continued uninterrupted. Marc began as a Material Handler and worked his way up to Plant Engineer.
The list of engineering accomplishments that Marc has been responsible for over the past three decades is substantial including manufacturing the Autosheeter and obtaining a patent on the M100 cutting mechanism, replaced the process water cooling tank with a closed loop chiller saving hundreds of thousands of gallons of water per year, numerous process improvements generating cost savings for Bulman and our customers, and most recently redesigning our Razor X cutting system to a deluxe model with enhanced cutting capabilities.
Marc’s free time is filled with his enjoyment of exercise including weight lifting and strength training not to mention being an avid golfer including winning the Kent County Amateur Golf tournament in 2002.
